She becomes aware that her marriage has been fixed with a rich NRI and she also learns that the prospective father-in-law desires a big chunk of money as dowry. The marriage of Sasirekha (Genelia) has been suddenly fixed by her father (Ahuti Prasad) without giving any chance to her at least to know who her life-partner would be. The road journey of the protagonists in this film is a metaphor for their journey together in life as partners. Shashirekha Parinayam is not inspired any of the above films in content, but only belongs to their genre.
